Course Description
The “ESD Auditor” course is a two (2) days training course intended for Auditors who will perform internal ESD audits (first party) or conduct audits by organizations on their external providers and other external interested parties (second party).
This course is generally offered once a quarter for both initial certification and recertification and is limited to six people per class!
Before enrolling in the initial ESD auditor training course, the student must have knowledge about the fundamentals of an ESD control program.
We recommend to follow the ESD Coordinator/ESD Control Program Manager training course prior to the ESD Auditor training.
During the training we will use the following basic documents:
- IEC 61340
- ANSI/ESD S20.20
- ISO 19011
This training includes a practical part (measuring ESD prevention measures) which among other things an ESD Auditor needs to carry out an audit.
All measurements are made and are based according to the following guidelines IEC: 61340-2-3, 61340-4-1, 61340-4-5 and IEC 61340-4-9.
Certification
At the conclusion of the Course, students will be subjected to examinations and have to perform an audit based on the IEC-61340 Procedures and according to ISO 19011 . Students who successfully complete this Course are awarded a certified ESD Auditor Certification valid for two (2) years. For students who have previously achieved their Certified ESD Auditor certification within the last two years a relevant recertification course/training is available.
