ESD Awareness and Prevention (ESD)
Electronic components are becoming smaller and therefore more sensitive to static discharge, also known as ESD. This ESD can cause many problems if it is not under control. It is therefore important to make everyone within the company aware of what ESD is, but even more how to keep ESD under control. Personnel training is a critical element in the implementation of an ESD control program. At a minimum, initial and recurrent ESD awareness and prevention training shall be provided to all personnel who handle or otherwise come into contact with an ESDS. Initial training shall be provided before personnel handle ESD sensitive devices.
This initial training program covers the fundamentals of ESD and each person’s role in the ESD program. This training program will answer the following basic questions:
- what is static electricity?
- how does it occur?
- how does ESD affect product quality?
On site training
If you are looking at training several people and a way to reduce the time out of the office, travel and addition expense of sending people to a class, then On-Site Training may be for you.
