IPC Hand Soldering Competition Returns to Germany

The 2021 edition of the regional Hand Soldering Competition will return to Germany in conjunction with productronica 2021. Located at productronica 2021 – Munich, Germany, Hall A2 – Stand 300, from 16 – 19 November 2021, skilled soldering experts will compete for three cash prizes:
1st place – €300,
2nd place – €200,
3rd place – €100.
Registration is open now, so register today. New this year is a HSC company award. Combining the scores of the top two competitors, the company with the highest combined score will win this award.

Can you build a functional #assembly that meets IPC-A-610F Class 3 criteria in 60 minutes? Test your #handsoldering skills and compete for cash prizes in Munich at the IPC Hand Soldering Competition to be held at productronica, 16-19 November.
The professional competitors will be judged by IPC Master Instructors (MIT) on soldering a complex printed circuit board with a maximum time of 60 minutes in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 3 criteria. Additional criteria will include the quality of the results achieved and of the assembly process, the overall electrical functionality of the assembly as well as the speed at which the assembly was produced.
